It's time to stand in my own two shoes and say this is my path my place

I feel calm in this space, I feel charmed but disgraced by mistakes I've made

Swayed by the prattling pirates of a truthless trade

Preyed on by the sparkling sirens with their half-baked praise

Is I refuse to make music in any way
