Many years ago

I only cared about studying history, different Cultures, religions and the spiritual world

But then I slowly turned

Shifted all my attention

And focus on my career, my goals and all

To the point where nothing else mattered me

Except my own achievements

Many relationships were sacrificed

Because of it

Working on myself

And wanting discover more about this universe When I know for a fact

That my time here is limited

At what's working for others

That you forget to cook your own food

With the recipe and ingredients

I find that insulting

But I'm still part human

And my make mistakes

But the goal is to learn from 'em

Like the wise do

We all have a different journey

And putting to much focus

On someone else's life
