Here under the harvest moon

The cold came in too soon

You hide your face behind your sweater

Walking along moonlit streets

We pick up our feet

To move against inclement weather

We thought nothing could stand in our way

We knew that our road wasn't paved in a day

Your hand in mine is all we can say

Down behind the Bowl-a-drome

We dream of our home

And the lights hanging from our front window

Considering time and space

We pick up our pace

In hopes that our memories aren't too slow

You thought nothing could break down our wall

But sometimes these giants are ten feet too tall

Let's pull back our slingshot and go for it all

All we wanted was time for it all

Time to flip through life's images

We held our hands out to catch what may fall

And we caught just one more day

Opening the Garden Gate

We're never too late

Let's agree we're two birds of one feather

Now under this Harvest Moon

We find a warm room

And talk about melting together

We knew long before now that we'd be
