If you are experiencing hardships and suffering in your life

These times do not not necessarily mean that you are God forsaken

See these trying times are an indication that you are right in the middle of God's will

Let me share some scripture with you

2 Corinthians 4:8-12 MSG

We've been surrounded and battered by troubles

But we're not demoralized; we're not sure what to do

But we know that God knows what to do; we've been spiritually terrorized

But God hasn't left our side; we've been thrown down, but we haven't broken

What they did to Jesus, they do to us—trial and torture

Mockery and murder; what Jesus did among them

He does in us—He lives! Our lives are at constant risk for Jesus' sake

Which makes Jesus' life all the more evident in us

While we're going through the worst, you're getting in on the best

Suffering, trying times, disappointments are apart of God's will for our lives

These hard times won't last forever, but we must endure them through to the finish line

At the place you're currently at, you see hardship as a negative

What you don't see is what the hardship is producing in your life

They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope

In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me

So, what is the purpose of suffering

Suffering makes you a true partner with Christ Jesus

You can't truly know Him, if you have not become one with Suffering

1 Peter 4:12-13 NLT

Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through

As if something strange were happening to you

Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering

So that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world

In Christ we will go from faith to faith and we will go from glory to glory

The best friends are the ones that stick with you through the tough stuff

And sometimes God just wants to see your sticktoitiveness

Life has disappointed us, family and friends have disappointed us

And sometimes we feel Lord that You have disappointed us

So here we are, here we stand Lord in need of healing from the journey

To be made whole after we've completed our season of suffering

You promised that weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning

Help us to endure, help us to see this season through to the end

You made a promise

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you
