Five little kids, skin red as cherries

Skipped over hills tired and merry

Enough time mommy was laid to rest

Breath of life loose around her chest

They found the bush red roses

Bent their backs

For the sake of their noses

Connected hands

Sun smiled as it burned their freckles

Worried about mommy

Knocked on her door, said hurry
