So many people living lives of daily deprivation

Can so quickly tip into despair and desperation

Hoping wishing praying for improving situations

Face frustration all the same

Every day they have a good idea of what they'll find

Trials and tribulations and the crushing daily grind

Despite all this they dare to dream for hope and faith are blind

A flickering flame that lives within tenacious hearts and minds

If we could only see the world through other people's eyes

There might be a chance if everyone would recognise

The idea that we are all seperated is a lie
