Lyrics
Three Rivers that run through my door
I walk beside them just to see how they flow
Watching the rivers flow stills my brain
I feel at home in the early morning rain
One flows from the south west down along the glen
The other starts at the east side of long Loch Earn
One tumbles down from the North
With its Deil's Cauldrons and their foam and froth
Blackthorn and Hawthorn bloom in the Spring
Wild Garlic and Bluebells do their thing
Maybe soon the sandmartins will arrive
My heart rushes to them as they swoop and dive
Rivers change as they move along
Many of the paths we've walked are long long gone
Our children grow and they move away
To find their own river songs to play
Blackthorn and Hawthorn bloom in the Spring
Wild Garlic and Bluebells do their thing
Maybe soon the sand martins will arrive
My joy rushes to them as they swoop and dive
Fly fishers, Wild Swimmers
Dog walkers, Runners and Ramblers
Stone skippers, Rock jumpers
Teenage Drinkers, Young firemakers
Duck racers, Raft makers
Hogmany Flambeaux bearers
Three Rivers that run through my door
I walk beside them just to see how they flow
Watching the rivers flow stills my brain
I feel at home in the early morning rain
Feel at home in the early morning rain
Feel at home in the early morning rain
Feel at home in the early morning rain
