Shining star, you know who you are

Got this light from my God

It's way brighter than them stones in your jaw

Or them rims on your car

I'm blessed with an eternal glow

Spitting words from my heart so you feel it, this internal flow

To tell the truth I don't know where I'd be

Without God on my team this would still be a dream

Cause, people ain't believe me

But I'm walking in faith, I can do anything

Hear my freedom nearing

Sound like church bells ringing

Pastor's sermon over but the choir still singing

Cause without you

There would be no light

Knew your children needed rest so you created the night

And no life lasts forever

So he created the place we call heaven

For souls to rest when bodies die

High above where the birds fly

Claimed the waters as seas

Then he planted his seed

Soon came grasslands and fruit trees

Even put the stars in the sky

Told the sun to light the moon through the night

That very next day he made life

Told us multiply, and

Rule every creature that breathes

Every fish in the sea

Every herb bearing tree

And any demon against me

Whether though the sky or on the land which it creeps

There's power in his palms

It's cause of him no weapon shall form
