Bicester to London, straight from work onto the train

Spending every penny that we've just been paid

Jump on the underground to the venue of the day

In the crowd but wishing we were on the stage

From the Roundhouse through Camden to Wembley Stadium

Brixton, Shepherd's Bush and Angel Islington

Our dreams were fuelled by all these bands we've seen and heard

Their music gave us strength to put up with the world
