Beauty School Dropout (BSD) is a Los Angeles-based "Renegade-Pop" band, launched in 2020. The five-piece outfit began with vocalist, Cole Hutzler, drummer, Mike Rose, and bassist, Brent Burdett; all formally of alt-rock band Strangefaces. The evolution of BSD was initially as Hutzler's solo project but following the dissolve of Strangefaces, he teamed back up with his former bandmates to collaborate in the creative process.
Soon after, Hutzler met guitarist Diego Ferrera, formerly producer audio engineer at Capitol Studios. this led to the meeting of producer and rhythm guitarist, Bardo - the final missing link to what is now BSD.
