Charlie is a Lusaka based Spoken Word Artist and minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was born Charles Zimba in the city of Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. Raised on streets of Matero, Charlie has had a passion for art, especially music before he discovered his love for spoken word poetry. While in High School he became a member of the poetry group, Blaak Roots Poets, alongside some of his, including, Smiley Thefir5t, Victor (Formerly Know As Blaak Pawa), Marsha ( Formerly Know As Sim-Zee). After High School, joined the youth led multi-denomination Christian movement called The Cliquerz ( Formerly Know As The Holy Hip-hop Clique) and reconnected with Smiley Thefir5t under a new team called E.P.I.C Motion Media. Charlie is always passionate about what he does, be it on stage, at Church, work, or in the studio.
