Rapper, dancer, author, Youtuber and self-made entrepreneur, Abigail Asante is bursting with talent. Having risen to prominence in 2018 through the pinpoint choreography of her dance videos shared on Instagram, and appearances dancing in videos from UK luminaries such as NSG, in late 2019, Abigail found herself trending worldwide on Twitter when she made the switch to artist, joining forces with fellow social media star Ivorian Doll to drop a beef track, The Situation that took subliminal aim another public figure. This was followed by a run of stand out tunes throughout 2019, including Spare Me,No Bae and Bouji. These tracks showcased Abigail’s addictive personality-sharp, funny, cutting and honest as she flipped between taking shots at lame guys and celebrating strong women. The Situation and Spare Me both raced to over a million views, making Abigail & Ivorian Doll the first female drill artists to break the million milestone, no mean feat in a vicious, traditionally male dominated field.


Now Abigail is striking out on her own to elevate to the next level, rebranding herself as Abigail Asante to nod to her Ghanaian heritage, and preparing a run of singles that showcase the breadth of her talent-jumping on beats that range from cold drill to dancefloor friendly Afrobeats.
