Zhao is the proof of concept and pop avatar of multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer Kenny Zhao. Raised in the Atlanta suburbs by Chinese immigrants, Kenny studied classical piano and composition before moving to Los Angeles. His work is a reconciliation of dualities - machine and human, world and self, East and West.
In the years since, Zhao has collaborated with a string of producers including Nicky Night Time, Armand Van Helden, and Black Coffee. As a performer, Zhao has been welcome to such venues as The Moroccan Lounge, The Satellite, and LA Chinatown's Summer Nights series.
