Using his real name as his stage name, UZUAZO hides behind no gimmicks and delivers soul-baring performances over captivating soundscapes ranging from reversed string melodies to floor rattling drum patterns. The Nigerian born hip-hop artist and producer switches comfortably between clever wordplay, playful bars and memorable choruses showcasing his ability to have the crowd bursting with energy and singing along. Now based in Montréal QC, UZUAZO has come a long way from secretly recording tracks at night during his early teenage years at boarding school in Yaoundé, Cameroon where he started his musical journey.
