A singer-songwriter and producer from Melbourne, Australia - Aeora (pronounced ‘ay-aura) began as a way for her to cope in the world and to connect with herself and the people around her.
From a young age, she sang and wrote songs on an old piano her father had bought her - also discovering she could play along to some of her favourite songs from artists such as Kylie Minogue. Later in her teenage years she started to delve more into country and folk music and started learning guitar. After she turned 18 and completed her first year at University studying a Science degree, she took a pause on studying and back-packed around the world by her self for 6 months and found herself learning her way around music production programs on her laptop. It was there where she began her journey into developing her own sound and her own voice.
In 2016, Aeora played her first interstate showcase at Sydney’s EMC, which followed by her first international showcase in Toronto at CMW in 2017...more
