RAZOOF started to produce original dub infused downtempo and deep house electronica material in 1997 ... This way, RAZOOF tracks like «Lambs Bread» (for the infamous stereo deluxe label) and «Universal Love» (released on San Francisco dub house cult imprint jah love recordings) caused quite some global scale dancefloor heat ... while his top notch remixer loaden 2007 album «Life, Love & Unity» on phazzadelic went straight to the top of the german chillout charts for several weeks.
since 2007 RAZOOF is the resident dj at Formenteras famous Blue Bar. In 2009 he released «High Tide, Low Tide» an album dedicated to his favourite island. The album features guest musicians like Lady Alma, Don Abi, Sebastian Sturm and ZEB. In 2011 Razoof comes up with a dubs and remixes album called «Sun salutation».
In 2013 RAZOOF released «Jahliya Sound». The album was recorded in Jamaica, Germany and The Gambia and features 12 reggae songs and it's versions with some great reggae singers like Luciano, Mykal Rose, Naptali, Lutan Fyah on vocals. In 2014 a dubs and mixes version of the JAHLIYA album was released.
In 2015 RAZOOF moved to Kampala, the capitol of Uganda. there he also founded a reggae and hiphop band called «Jahliya». Their first album «More fire!» was released in 2016. in June 2017 RAZOOF released his new album KIWAFU. the album was recorded in Germany, Spain, Uganda, Kenia and Jamaica featuring artists like Keida, Naptali, Jahcoustix, Dactah Chanda & Lady Slyke...more
