Slimmz is a multi talented Afro-pop singer/songwriter Slimmz incorporates the influences of Afrobeats, Reggae, Jazz, House and Pop music to create his dynamic sound. Growing up and fending for himself in the neighbourhoods of Lagos he educated himself in the science of the street life around him.

He recorded his first demo in 2008, his apt for music was clear from the young age of 8 when he would play the drums in church. He credits this early exposure to creating music for his ability and passion today.

LIFE, an encouraging, reflective and conscious single released in June 2020 marks his re-introduction to the music scene.
Slimmz’s childhood, although not conventional, played a large part into moulding his resilient character and his love for music. This would go on to influence his life views and in-turn music would become a form of therapy and inspiration to him.
Despite Nigerian street life and music being his main influence, with Fela Kuti, the King of Afrobeat having particular sway, travel and living in various countries and on 3 different continents has significantly expanded his musical repertoire. His music is intended to be truly international in nature and to be related to by all facets of all societies globally.
