Emily is an up coming gospel singer who has always had the passion for singing since the age of 3. She has been singing in the choir since 2002, where she was also taught how to read musical notes. She once featured in a gospel album and has attended so many musical concerts too.
Even though Emily has been singing in the choir for almost 20 years now, she never thought of becoming a Gospel singer until when she received a prophecy in Glory House Revival ministries - Norway in February 2019 that said she has a calling to become a gospel singer.
It came to her like a shock, but she took it seriously and started working towards the prophecy, because when God calls you, He qualifies you. Two months later, the grace of God began to manifest concerning the prophecy, and Emily started composing her own songs. She has written over 30 songs and counting.
Before the 2019 prophecy, Emily learned how to play the keyboard in April 2018 because there was no one to do it for the church. So she challenged herself and learned how to play the keyboard within 4 months. What a grace!
That same year 2019 after the prophecy was given, the grace and the call of God upon Emily was evident and she released her first single "Unchangeable Jehovah" in December.
Before Emily left the country she was a member of the St Peter and Paul Catholic youth movement (SAPCYM), of the Simbock Anglophone Church in Yaoundé- Cameroon. At some point, she served in the group above as: Vice-secretary, Secretary, Vice-president and President of the group.
Emily released her first gospel album titled "Done for me" containing 8 songs on the 28th November 2021. In 2022, she recorded 4 new songs and awaiting to release them soonest.
Aside singing and writing songs, Emily is also a motivational speaker and also a plant biologist....more
