Rebz, also known as Rebel D or Max Mayers is a freelance UK Record Producer/Engineer, Songwriter, Artist and DJ from Oldham, Greater Manchester currently living in London.
Rebz started as a bedroom Mc in 2001, and went on to feature on Dj Cameo's: 'Pirate Session' in a crew called E.T.C in 2004. In 2006 he was introduced to the Bassline scene in Dewsbury, Huddersfield where he immediately fell in love with the music. He then went on to feature on many of Dj Ej's Ej'ucation volumes and a compilation cd called "Supa Dupa" with a track featuring Trilla called 'War Skank' which was heavily supported by Jamie Duggan.
Finding it hard to juggle time between a 9-5, music and the doubles that come with living in UK poverty; Rebz decided to head to University in London where he could spend more time perfecting his craft and escape the troubles of Oldham. Rebz has recently had support from TS7 and had tracks played on 1xtra and Kiss. Rebz eventually wants to help young people escape poverty in UK....more
