Brought up in Detroit and now residing in London Demi Riquísimo is no stranger to the scene, and through other projects has been quietly perfecting his art for many years resulting in seriously polished releases that hold no punches.
Making an instant impact with a debut vinyl only white label on fledgling imprint Semi Delicious. ‘A Lifetime on the Hips’ exquisitely blends a fierce array of analog House, acid and disco in a tasty four-tacker that has been setting dance floors on fire as AAA promos found their way into the hands of DJ’s like Horse Meat Disco HiFi Sean, Rex The Dog, Philippe Zdar and Auntie Flo, and even a coveted premiere on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong himself.
After the sold out pressing of his first release, the enigmatic Demi returns to tried-and-tested vinyl-only formula dropping the aptly titled ‘Mysterious EP’.
Skream, Optimo, Dusky, Ậme, and even Busy P who described it as “just perfect”. With the diary now filling up with sets at Glastonbury, El Dorado and Gottwood this summer, before an Autumn run of the UK’s biggest club events, 2019 is certainly shaping up to be a game changer for the mysterious Demi Riquísimo.
