Residing in Vancouver, Canada, Otolith is extremely grateful for the opportunity to live and grow among the spirit and beauty of the west coast. With a deep love for music, his family and the environment, Otolith produces original electronic music within the forests of Lynn Valley. Inspired by the pioneers of the former local cedar shake industry (initiated in 1903), Shaketown Studio was established in 2018.
Otolith has a deep understanding of what is required to foster and maintain a positive vibe and flow within any room or venue. As an exciting and innovative original music producer and DJ, he has headlined venues ranging from festivals, to clubs and has shared decks with many talented artists, including international superstars Mickey Finn and Paul Oakenfold.
Otolith’s music is enjoyed globally and is signed by five record labels across the globe including labels from Spain, Argentina, Brazil and England. He produces electronic music which is typically infused with an analog sound combined with classic strings such as cello and violin as well as grand piano. As a producer of over 12 different genres of electronic music, Otolith is grateful to be on the forefront of the development of new, progressive musical ideas and concepts....more
