M’lissa is a Dutch singer and songwriter. M'lissa has been performing live on stage from the age of five! She has more than 5 million views on YouTube and has multiple TV- and radio appearances.
Her career took a turn when she participated a Dutch singing contest called 'Junior Song Festival', she reached the finals with her song 'Als ik in de lucht kijk'. Later that year she also received a golden record for this song. After having a taste of what the music branche was really like, she decided she wanted a long-lasting music career. Her single “Hopefully” reached the heady position of number 10 in the official Dutch Charts Top 100. The first single of her debut album “Ashes On The Ground” reached the steady position of number 17 in the official Dutch top 100 in 2014 for 14 weeks.
In 2016 M'lissa decided to make a more sophisticated sound. R&B/Motown with a touch of oldskool soul-vibes. Her love and passion for this genre resulted in tracks called 'Superheroine', 'Girls night out' and 'Tambourine Man' written and produced by Jan van der Toorn.
In December 2016 M'lissa released her song 'I wish everyday was Christmas'. This was the beginning of a returning christmas-hitsong! The song got played in more than 25 countries all troughout the globe.
