Pastis is a five piece indie rock group from Helsinki taking influence from genres such as Britpop, British rock, merseybeat and modern indie-rock.
Their debut album ‘Circles’ (released Feb 2019) comes packed with catchy choruses, merry melodies and hopeful lyrics. The bands laid back attitude and joie de vivre is present in the arrangements which flow smoothly all the way from dramatic and tragic to playful and boisterous. The bands love for vocal harmonies further adds to the Pastis trademark sound.
The three singles from the album (Amazon, Around Here and Valour Valour) gathered positive attention including features by The Revue and AlexRainbirdMusic, as well as radio plays on BBC6, NDR and Radio Fritz.
Pastis are at the moment putting together a follow-up album. The first single 'Stars & Marmalade' will be released on the 29th of April.
