Brazilian producer Victor Hugo (VHOOR) is one of Brazil’s youngest talents to take the world stage. The
21-year old producer hails from the city of Belo Horizonte, known for their vast contributions to Brazilian
music from the 60s and 70s, fostering legends such as Milton Nascimento and Lo Borges.
Only after 5 years of producing, Vhoor has been able to build a loyal following in Brazil, while also
attracting international attention from fans and fellow producers. Earlier this year, Vhoor collaborated with
Seattle based producer Sango (Goldlink, Smino, Bryson Tiller, Christina Aguilera) for their joint EP
“Acima” which helped introduce Vhoor’s talents to an international audience outside of Brazil.
Vhoor’s musical influences are clearly apparent in his production style, incorporating his love of soul, jazz,
hip hop, Brazilian funk, Brazilian music from the 60s and 70s, and global rhythms from the African
