A rapper who grew up listening to Kanye West, Pharrell and the occasional comedy station on Pandora. Keecue emerged from Bloomington, Minnesota with a explorative style that connects the dots between Mac Miller, Tyler, The Creator and XXXTentacion. Keecue's early child hood memories consist of riding around with his Dad listening to Harry Nilsson's song "Best Friend". He got his start by featuring on 'The D.A.G's' earlier music. Keecue found his love for writing rhymes and creating beats while making their collaborative mixtape "The Vibration" in Alexander Dirk's garage. That same summer Keecue began creating songs of his own, staying up for days at a time making what came to be his first mixtape "Sun" which features songs like "Sunshine" and "Apples". Months later he went on to release his third mixtape named "Black Keys Only" where he started experimenting with creating beats on his iPhone. Keecue shows growth in many different ways through all three of the mixtapes but nothing like the growth he's shown with his most recent release in 2019 "Brunch"....more
