After starting college at the University of North Carolina at Asheville in the fall of 2012, Cameron signed a management contract with McLaughlin Music Group International. A year and a half later, he released a five-track, self-titled EP.
In anticipation of his second project, Cameron signed with Dream Records in the summer of 2017. He released his sophomore album, Alpenglow, on January 26, 2018. Alpenglow explores a journey through the night, and wrestles with the joys and sorrows inherently apart of such journeys. In his review of the record, John Underdown writes, "you may not have been anticipating this release, but it is one you should pay attention to and look for more from this artist in the future."
Since his debut release in 2014, Cameron has performed or led worship nearly every weekend, and has opened in concert for Laura Story, aired on and been interviewed by Christian radio stations all around the world, and traveled the east coast for various conferences and concerts.
