Endless State is a Northern Irish solo project led by former Novice Drummer Gary Colbert.Influences range from the new wave scene of the late 70s,to the synth sounds of Depeche Mode and the Human league with a tinge of Seattle grunge. ‘For me,it’s all about the punk ethics of picking up an instrument and just making music,no matter how sloppy it might sound..as long as it’s played with passion and it’s raw and from the heart!’ Colbert said..Endless State began in July 2018..six years after Colbert set down his drum sticks and quit Northern Irish Rock outfit NOVICE to move to California..'it was never the end of me making music,I always wanted to come back with something new,and after a couple of failed attempts with new bands,I decided to go it alone and take complete control of what happened next.Im an 80s child and all those wonderful sounds have moulded me to create the music I make with Endless State,along with my love for indie,rock and punk.’...more
