Mattia Miele was born in Naples, Italy, in 1995. Since his childhood he has been fashineted by music and tribal rhythms. At the age of 16 he starts playing as a dj in small local events in his home town and working on his first productions, always experimenting new styles and expanding his personal collection of music.
His passion for music and his hunger to explore the world lead him to leave home and start a new adventure in the vibrant city of Barcelona. He is just 19 when he starts studying electronic music production and sound engineering at the renowned Sae institute Barcelona.
Inspired by the art scene of the city and thanks to the encounter with people from all over the world, Mattia gets in contact with new genres and different music styles, beeing introduced to the underground psychedelic scene.
These new influences change his concept of music and he starts to create a new psychedelic obscure sound, building his personal home studio in Barcelona and playing for some local festivals and partys in Spain with artists from all over the world. "Explore The Universe" is the name of his first EP produced in these time with the first project "Shamanik Sound", published with the brazilian label Tera Records. After a time of experimentation, Mattia come back in his home town, Naples, joining to Pylosophia Lab, working on a new full-on/ twilight underground project: "Overdimension"....more
