Mark Asari

Famously known for taking part in the UK talent show 'The Voice UK’ winning the hearts of many with his inspiring story of being someone stammers when speaking, however when it came to singing or expressing himself musically he was fluent.

Mark was born and raised in London as 1 of 4 siblings to Ghanaian parents, and from an early age displayed his passion for music. He started out as a producer in school where him and his close friend would trade floppy disks containing beats they'd create on Cubase to listen and critique each other. As his skills improved, he began producing beats for local MC’s and Gospel artists in the scene at the time.

Eventually developing his own voice and confidence he began writing and producing tracks for himself, later releasing them on his myspace page, where he gained a following. That was only the beginning as he went on to sign his first publishing deal with Global Talent working professionally as a songwriter working with an array of artists and other producers, and then signing his first record deal to Island records as a part of a boyband, where he got a taste of the artist lifestyle, making music videos and performing around the country.

Unfortunately closing that chapter Mark continues to release music independently, also lending his vocals to tracks released on major labels his most famous being a song he wrote and featured on which scored the 'Fifty Shades Darker Original soundtrack’.
