Ekagrata is a music project started during the rumbling year of 2020, created to spread the positive message of iconic speeches through its debut EP “Holler”, which features the reading of Maya Angelou’s poem “Still I Rise” and the final speech of Charlie Chaplin’s movie “The Great Dictator”.
In 2021, Ekagrata takes on a new direction exploring the sounds of his home country Brazil. Ekagrata’s upcoming album “Feira” mashes Brazilian guitar music with trip hop and R&B beats, as well as original recordings of typical places in Brazil, such as the traditional street market “Feira” (hence the album’s title)....more
