Tobi Peter is a songwriter, DJ, music producer and animator.
The Lagos based producer takes musical inspiration from Thomas Wesley (also known as Diplo). Much like Diplo , Tobi Peter makes music across a wide range of genres including Hip-Hop, Dance, Pop, R&B, Electronic, Afrobeat, Alternative, Raggae and rap.
He has a strong belief that musical artistes should not be limited by genre, hence, the name of his label, N.L.B.G. (Not Limited By Genre).
Based on his early interest in electronic dance music, popularly known as EDM, he sought to learn how to produce music in order to make his own original electronic music.
After learning how to produce music in college, his initial tracks were attempts at electronic music and he was not satisfied with the results.
This lead him to explore other genres; exposing him to brand new sounds and artistes. This experience increased his curiosity in making other genres.
