David Johnson, better known as his stage name Dave Childz is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer from the Bronx, New York. By infusing his New York & Pennsylvania background, eclectic taste in music, and life experiences; he has developed his own unique sound. Through his melodic hooks and lyrical flows accompanied by his own style of production; he has created a soundtrack to life. He gained recognition after the release of his "Forever Real" EP (2015). Then went on to experience growing notoriety and success with his full length project "How Long Till Then" (2017).
