Alpha, whose real name is Ebuka Ntamere, hails from Imo State, Nigeria. He is a rapper, record producer and audio engineer, born in Lagos and raised across Lagos and Owerri.
He graduated in 2012 as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer from Madonna University, where he released his first two mixtapes as an undergraduate - "No Silence", in 2010, and "The Road to RUSH", in 2011. Two years after his graduation, he put out "My Own Horns" - a well-received six-track self-produced JazzRap EP, in 2014.
