Akashic

Akashic began playing the piano at the age of 10 and composing score music at the age of 15 in which he also began self taught guitar and bass guitar. At the age of 18 he started his first band called White Static, a progressive rock band, in San Marcos, TX. Akashic played keys and back-up vocals. For the next 4 years White Static was his main endeavor along with a 2nd post-rock band in which he played bass guitar. Shortly after graduating Texas State University at the age of 22 and the demise of both bands, he joined a garage rock/post-punk band in Austin, TX in which he played bass guitar as well. The band had solid success playing local shows and during Austin's renowned SXSW festival. After a year Akashic left Austin to travel Europe and live in Spain in which he began to hone his craft in ambient/electronic music production ultimately leading him to release his first solo album called Memoriez under the artist name Akashic. He returned to the United States in Orlando, FL where he finally settled into his current rock-dubstep infusion drawing elements from past and present inspiration and experiences. Akashic is currently attending the music production school Icon Collective in Los Angeles, CA under their online program.
