Paul Robinson

Paul a Dj/Producer from South East London, Who started playing music in the early Jungle / Drum & Bass days, he started collecting vinyl & he started too mix on two belt drive decks, Paul got into the Uk Garage sound around 1994/95. Paul started taking Djing serious in 1998 got his first Dj booking at an local event from there he got a show on radio weekly on Friday night. Paul got into the darker Garage sound while working with an MC, which then formed the crew Garage Essentials & started producing tracks of his own a while later Garage Essentials turned into Essentials playing Grime & became one of the icon crew in South London after the influence of So Solid Krew.
Paul then took a break from music & then after a while got into the House music sounds & started producing, Paul got his name recognised again from his tracks being played on Rinse Fm, Paul stared getting more bookings with his own weekly show & joined House Entertainment which help him spread & sound from there Paul started his own label Mokujin Recordings. Paul has played in Ibiza,Birmingham and many London clubs alongside some top DJ’s in the scene. Paul’s sound is what he calls Hybrid House a fusion of bass related sounds influenced from the past sounds he loves.
