Kofi Kunta

Kofi Kunta is a HipHop/RNB and Afroswing Artist from Accra Ghana who seeks to inspire and change life's through Music and his SupremeVibes Movement. Since 2017 Kofi Kunta has Been building his Fanbase in his city Madina, Ghana and the world as a whole by releasing 4 mixtapes and freestyles on social media. His second official EP titled CrossRoad out on 18th July this project was made at a point when he felt whether to give it up or continue his musical journey.

Why music?
Battling with Major Depressive Disorder During my Teenage Year i was introduced to HipHop music by my elder brother ( Edem) who's fav rapper was NAS at the time so he played a lot of his music. I was just intrigued by his storytelling and deep introspective lyrics so when i started writing i tried to write like him. That was when i started becoming aware of myself and realized he had a problem but had nobody to talk to. Writing my feelings and thoughts into rhymes and Rapping it out everyday it became the "Psychotherapy" i needed. Music saved my life!. Unconsciously it was helping me overcome my Depression and trauma,Even to this day. Looking back now on how far I've come and being a Music Artist now, My Goal and Purpose is to use my music and my story to help,motivate and inspire people going through hardship in life or suffer from any form of mental health problem. Any kid out there who feels misunderstood or feels like an outcast i understand and i speak for you. My Name is Kofi Kunta.
