吴荻先生在登台说书整十周年之际《再说三国》，选取魏蜀吴各三文三武共六位英雄分别评说。首场开书西凉大将马超，吴荻先生依托陈寿《三国志》正史及裴松之评注，细述马孟起祖籍家世，身材面貌，同代诸人评价，且匡正史实，说明无实据可证马超为伏波将军之后，且潼关之战并非《三国演义》所载“为父报仇”。吴荻先生以史为据细说马超“强而不仁”，揭秘马超因何归顺刘备后再无勇战，推演马超之死原因境况。诸葛孔明以激将法使三将军张飞解葭萌关之围。张翼德出城迎战，刘玄德在城楼上却对马超样貌一见倾心。张飞与马超棋逢对手大战二百回合不分胜败，黑白一处煞是好看，直战到日落西山仍不罢休，挑灯篝火继续葭萌关夜战。吴荻先生正说侧述道尽二将之勇，令人一时热血澎湃一时忍俊不禁。说书人以《三国志》陈寿评点作为马超一场收官结语，收束这回未得善终的三国猛将的故事。更多精彩三国评书，尽在澄书馆《再说三国》！
