Stars don't shine here in the city

I think I need a change, hoping you could come with me

We'll find a place with a little land

Where you could be your woman and I could be your man

We'll find a place that might need a little work

I ain't afraid of time, you ain't afraid of dirt

It might take us a little while

But you and me we gonna fix it up real nice

And one day you'll give me a whole mess of kids and they'll love this place just like we did

And many years from now when my body lays to waste, you go scatter my ashes all over this place
