A strangest chill beats up inside

I crumble like a saved dream fading away

Following the leads, leads me straight back to the house

Watch my dad go find my 20 pack, he throws 'em away

All my dear belongings finds a different approach

The surface turning gold on the shapes I'd distort

I go through a book of poems just to clear out the rhymes

All my idols are dead, where lies the hope that I found?

There's an angel dressed in black rolling joints on the porch

Strangers, friendly passers-by, takes a share, shows the road
