I catch her standing on her tippy-toes but then again she's only 5-foot-tall

Looking so free. I can see all the innocence in the air with no type of shame

She doesn't know about men like me

I watch her from afar. She comes to me so willingly

Her heart is open. I don't wanna have to be the one to change her

But she doesn't know about the outside dangers. I gotta teach her

But then again who am I to be the one to break her little tiny heart

She still doesn't know of the big whole world and how it's filled with people like me

I have no heart, but if I did... it would beat for her
