Fisherman on the rocks with a castline in his hand

The jacks are jumping high saying "catch me if you can"

Call the seabirds from the sky, crashing where they see them

And the jacks go slipping down and down chasing after freedom

And the fisher man stands waiting for his catch, patiently.

The sun comes in early bringing divers from their havens

They had gone out seeking but found little for their saving

And the circus birds strong shanties sing against the waves of freedom

Playing subtle counterpoints against the waves a-beating
