I didn't start those days thinking they'd be some for the history books But we jumped in Over our heads, just a bunch of mainland haole kooks 6 to 8 from the south out at Diamond Head

It was years ago but I still can't the feeling out of my head

These are the days that will be with us for the rest of our lives These are the times we'll Remember until we die

Etched in my mind, seared upon my brain

It's A-line in the rain, A-frames on a sunny day

These are the mythical days

I can see it on your face, these are the days

I didn't wake up that morning thinking that my mind would be blown But as my wheels hit The ground, they locked right into the hero loam It was cold, dark and wet descending Through the rain
