Wanderlust

I've seen some dark places, been through dark phases

But right now I'm stargazing while I'm crossfaded

Life has got my heart jaded and my thoughts shaken

Why stop chasing my dream to spit these raw statements

See this pen is like my only friend

Grab a pad, unload the stress

Until I feel the fleeting sense of hope again

I know I'm blessed but at times I'm a total mess

On my own ascent to the pinnacle with no regrets

It can be a lonely quest, but I keep my flow in check

Keep roaming towards the road ahead, and fight off all opposing threats

My sole intent is to go till they put my soul to rest
