You slipped the knife into my back and then you looked the other way

Who else do I have to blame?

Except myself because It was me that gave you the opportunity

Your surface, so fake

Only what you want them to see

You find a weakness and you pull the strings

Draining the life out of everything

Picking at the pieces, from what is left of me

I hate to say I never thought it would end this way

But here we are, locked in place
