When I was 16 I got my first job

I spent my weekends mopping up the bar floors

I had a lot of time to kill

I think of how I would have done it differently but even still

When I was 16 I got my L plates

I got it right the first time even though I was kinda late

I learnt to park a four wheel drive

When I was 16 I got my first car it was a shitbox it didn't get me real far

I bought my first acoustic guitar
