Pet Peeve

I got a pet to peeve and I'ma call it depression. Inside my mind my enemy is my unconscious

intentions.

It takes the breath away from me, alone I walk in the desert.

Inevitably I'll stretch the lead like talking to second. You wanna pressure me? Well then bring out

the diamond tester.

Might be rough at the edges, but that's because I might jump.

I've established a connection with day ones I can trust.

That's why I'm looking in the mirror holding two metal fingers up.

I'm a man with two thumbs that was doubted every day I've lived.

And I never defeated the demon inside of my mind I chose to give.

All my kindnessuntil he took it for granted like a kid. If I bite the hand that feeds me all my fuel, the fire's thin.
