Thumbtack, the way that I'm pushing

Poked a hole in the theories, then flipped over the cushion

No one really understands, keep them guessing & looking

They probably wanna see me fall, like some books without bookends

That's cool, it wasn't really unexpected

Double negatives proved a positive lesson

Independent thinker with a music obsession

Not known to flaunt, not really bout flexing

Bent out of shape, towards the straight & the narrow

Too much on my plate, it didn't seem fair though

Felt so fake, basically just a scarecrow

The world shot me down, like a bow & an arrow
