My name is George Floyd, a simple old man

I had a big dream and a huge ass plan

But then these killers came and put it to an end

Now the worlds burning cause of what they did

I grew up in Houston a very poor part

Played some sports and became a big star

Won a state game for catching 18 yards

Then the time came that hit me real hard

When I came on back i had all these charges

Most them drugs and some incarcerations

When I left home, i left without my crew

Minneapolis to start something brand new
