Beach Club Dr.

I was headed down south nine hundred miles an hour when I bumped into a tree

It knocked me down like a mountain sitting on two oceans of no tides

I could not see it would not move

When I tried a way around it was so wide I almost broke

So, with my small axe I started chopping on through the oak

So now I'm bleeding on my own

Yes, I am bleeding like a stone

It seemed I had raised arms to a fight that wasn't my own

Quarreled up in a quest somewhere off far away

I felt who I was breaking off like a branch

It wasn't much of time before I would watch my roots grow back
