You've always asked me what my favourite colour was

I told you it was grey

I think I just liked the way the sun shone down on your hair

You've always told me I was making a huge mistake

For loving you the way that I do

But you don't have a clue

You just think it's unfair

Lay your head down and let me think for you

We don't have to pretend you're not feeling blue

I promised you to let you go before I could fall for you

But tonight I think I'll break a little rule
